Grand Hoyah Hotel in Subic

We made reservations at the Grand Hoyah Hotel for this unplanned Subic trip. And since it is a last minute reservation, we were booked at Superior King Room which comes with 1 king size bed plus 2 Complimentary Breakfast. All rooms are booked already so we have no choice but to fit in the 5 of us. We asked for 2 extra single beds though. Buti na lang sexy kami ni maderdear. LOL.

Very convenient ang location ng Grand Hoyah Hotel. This four-storey boutique hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Harbor Point Mall and the bay area. Pero kung magbi-brisk walk ka all the way siguro kaya syang ma-reach in 5 minutes. >_<
The Main lobby

One thing you’ll immediately notice was their elevator.

Surprisingly, the room was spacious. Pwedeng pwedeng magpatintero at piko sa loob. Hahaha. It seemed to have a vintage feel with a bit of Japanese theme. I specifically liked the old-fashioned telephone and antique style lamps. Muntik ko na ngang iuwi sa sobrang tuwa ko. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough for a goodnight sleep. What bothers me was the smell. Amoy gatas ng ina. Hahaha. But it’s bearable. Ako lang yata nakakaamoy during our stay. Hahaha. Pero swear mga teh, amoy gatas lalo na sa hallway.

The room also has a coffee table and chairs, 42″ LCD TV with cable, split type air-condition, safety box, mini fridge and bar.

The bathroom is clean. Shower comes in hot and cold.

Grand Hoyah hotel also offers amenities like spa and KTVs. I didn’t have the chance to take pictures of their amenities. But we’ve tried the massage room. I don’t recommend their spa if you’re looking for more relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience. Paki explain. Since the massage room is just beside their KTVs, expect that medyo amoy yosi at rinig ang mga biritan sa loob. I suggest you have a massage room service instead. The massage itself was just okay. Their massage services fee starts from P250-500.

They also have a restaurant beside the lobby. You can get your complimentary breakfast there. The meals were just so-so and a bit pricey for a small serving. Additional breakfast plate costs P180.

Overall, the room was satisfactory, I recommend it to friends as a practical and clean hotel to stay in if they wish to explore Subic. A review for this hotel has also been posted in Trip Advisor. If you plan to try this hotel, here are the published rates:
