Greek Pita Pizza Recipe

Ive been changing my eating habits lately to stay fit and healthy. So far it’s been working great! Been switching white to brown rice.

I cut out soda and limit my sugar intake too! Goodbye to my guilty pleasures – chocolate and ice cream. Medyo malungkot ang life. Though at least once a week, I give myself a sweet treat and call it a cheat day. Kagaya ngayon, lumalafang ako ng isang boteng ube jam habang nagta-type ako. Okay. Back to healthy living kuno!

Today, I’m sharing this easy and HEALTHY Greek Pita Pizza recipe. Handy for weeknight dinners, small gatherings and any late night snack that calls for a little extra color and flavor. Pwedeng pambaon sa mga bagets or meryenda sa mga biglaang nambubulabog sa bahay. Di lang pampamilya, pang sports pa! I know you’ll gobble these up.

200ml tomato sauce
1/4 cup sliced white onion
4 (6-inch) whole wheat or white pita bread rounds
1 cup shredded quick melt cheese
12 black olives, sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste

Place pita dough in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for 6-7 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Spread tomato sauce on the toasted pita rounds. Add bell perpper, onion and olives. Sprinkle with mozzarella. Dash with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Wow, that is one loaded pizza, it looks awsmoee. I love black beans. I could totally be vegetarian if my family would let me. Alas, they would think me crazy if I served them a black bean pizza. Sigh.
